Day 1. March 26, 2023 (Sunday). Arrival in Bangui (Central African Republic)
Arrival in Bangui. Welcome by the Local Guide and transfer to the
Hotel Obangui. Accommodation, dinner and overnight at Obangui Hotel.

Day 2. March 27, 2023 (Monday). Bangui – Boali Falls – Bangui
Breakfast, departure from Bangui for the visit of the Boali falls and lianas bridge of Boali, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a picnic lunch.
Return to Bangui, visit to the Craft Market, Visit of the remains of Emperor Bokassa's palace, Iberides village. Visit the Barthélémy Boganda museum, the cosmopolitan central market.
Transfer to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight at Obangui Hotel.

Day 3. March 28, 2023 (Tuesday). Bangui – Bayanga, Dzanga Sangha Park
Breakfast, small city tour and transfer to the airport. At 11 am flight from Bangui to Banyanga at Dzanga Sangha Park. Arrival around 1 pm. Lunch at the Doli Lodge.
Around 3 pm small boat trip to see how the tribe Sango collect the Palm Raphia for wine in the forest, traditional process. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 4. March 29, 2023 (Wednesday). Doli – Yamdobé – Bayaka Pygmies' camp in deep forest
Breakfast, trekking from Doli to Yamdobé village, meet Bayaka Pygmies tribe. Continue trekking to the deep forest, we will do 5 hours trekking in the deep forest. On the trekking way, we will discover some medicinal plants. Will see traditional process of honey collecting by climbing the huge tree.
Put our tents in the deep forest. Afternoon, fishing with Bayaka women, water drums. At night participating in dancing, storytelling. Dinner and night in tents.

Day 5. March 30, 2023 (Thursday). Bayaka Pygmies in deep forest – Yamdobé
Breakfast, trekking to hunting area, participating traditional Bayaka hunting with nets. Taking an opportunity of honey collecting and other collecting of roots and medicinal plants. Upon return to the camping place, lunch.
Trekking to Yamdobé village, assisting of the Magic Jingi dance with Bayaka Pygmies. Visit of very big village with more than 1000 Bayaka Pygmies people. Dinner and night in tent.

Day 6. March 31, 2023 (Friday). Yamdobé – Doli Lodge – Elephant Bai safari – Doli Lodge
We have breakfast at the very nice place and have fun in the magnificent landscape of Yamdobé. Trekking to Doli lodge. Installation in the rooms, relax.
Early lunch and 12:30 and drive to the Dzanga Bai for safari. Arrival at the camp, we go to the Bai 45 minutes to reach the landscape of Bai. 2 or 3 hours watching the elephants, buffalos, sitatungas, sometimes bongos, various birds.
Return for dinner at Doli lodge, overnight.

Day 7. April 1, 2023 (Saturday). Gorilla trekking in the Bai Hoko – Doli Lodge
Early breakfast, road to a deep forest of about 52 km to reach the gorilla trekking area, arrival at Bai Hoko, Dzanga Sangha park. Formalities, information on hiking. We will discover western lowland gorillas. Gorillas are sometimes 45 minutes or 1 hour of hiking distance, sometimes more. We will stay with the gorillas for 1.5 hours. Return to Doli Lodge, dinner and overnight.

Day 8. April 2, 2023 (Sunday). Dzanga Park – Ouesso (Republic of the Congo)
Breakfast. At 7 a.m. motorized canoe to the border with Republic of the Congo, for border formalities. Continuation by canoe for Ouesso in the north of Republic of the Congo.
Briefing with the Guide. Dinner and Night at the Onanga hotel.

Day 9. April 3, 2023 (Monday). Ouesso – Odzala village – Baka Pygmies village
After breakfast, drive to Odzala village, around 150 km from Ouesso. Upon arrival in the village, continue driving to the Pygmies' village. Installation, full day activities with the Baka Pygmies. We will experience Baka way of hunting and climbing the tree for collecting honey.
In the evening, Iboga practices. Pygmies in this area are practicing hallucinogen effect of Iboga tree. They usually do it at night. It is practiced in a different way to the Bwiti ritual in Gabon.
The Iboga tree is central to the Bwiti spiritual practices in West-Central Africa, mainly Gabon, Cameroon and the Republic of the Congo, where the alkaloid-containing roots or bark are used in various ceremonies to create a near-death experience. Iboga is taken in massive doses by initiates of this spiritual practice, and on a more regular basis is eaten in smaller doses in connection with rituals and tribal dances performed at night.

Day 10. April 4, 2023 (Tuesday). Baka Pygmies village – Equator – Odziba – Mbé
After breakfast, departure for the Mbé village, capital of the old kingdom of the Tékés to meet King Makoko. En route we visit to a Pygmies village, and also celebrate crossing of the equator in Makoua.
At the crossroads of Odziba, the road on the right leads to Mbé, capital of the Tékés, located 55km east of Odziba. A large village in the Plateaux region, Mbé has preserved some vestiges of the heroic era when the agglomeration was the capital of a vast kingdom of 85,000 square km, extending over the Congo and the former Zaire, on both sides.
Arrival and installation of tents. Campfire. The traditional dance of Bateke people, the village elders tell us stories around the fire. Some chiefs still paint their faces with yellow and red color during the ceremonies. Dinner and night in tents in Mbé.

Day 11. April 5, 2023 (Wednesday). Mbé – Ngabé
Breakfast, meeting with King Makoko and departure for Ngabé. You can still see in Mbé the royal residence of Makoko, a brick house and a stele commemorating the signing of the famous treaty of 1880. It is indeed here that French explorer De Brazza made his first encounter with the Makoko Ilôo 1st, of which he kept a dazzled memory. We will attend the traditional dance "Mantsièmè" or "Kébé-Kébé", deliver our gifts to King Makoko. 4 km from Mbé, we will visit the Valley of the Butterflies, at the edge of a small clear stream.
Then we will continue towards Ngabé, 40 km west of Mbé. Arrival in Ngabé and installation at Touristic Lodge Ngabe.

Day 12. April 6, 2023 (Thursday). Ngabé – Fishermen village
After breakfast, meeting with the Queen, delivery of gifts brought.
It was in Ngabé, a small port on the Congo River, that the wives of the Tékés kings once resided, the first of whom, "La Ngassa", bore the title of Queen and played a major role in the Kingdom. She was often chosen to become the guardian of sacred objects, in particular "Nkwembali", the spirit of the kingdom residing in the sacred cataract. One of the last of these Queens, Ngalifourou, wife of King Makoko Ngankia, lived in Mbé until 1958 and her family has kept her ebony bust. According to those close to her, Ngalifourou had magical powers: she could make rain fall, transform herself into a man or an animal and command wild animals.
Explore surroundings of Ngabé and continue to the fishermen beach. Transfer to the port for boarding the boat. We will stop in a local village or in a fishing camp.

Day 13. April 7, 2023 (Friday). Fishermen village – Brazzaville
Breakfast and boat trip to Brazzaville. We continue fishing while approaching Brazzaville. If you are a good fisherman, you can get to know the Tiger Fish in the Congo River.
Discovery of Mbamou Island. Once the possession of the Téké Kings of Mbé, the island served as their warehouse and market. The Tékés gathered their goods there (tobacco, ivory and slaves) before bartering them to their Congo customers from the South, in contact with European navigators.
Arrival in Brazzaville and transfer to the Hotel de la Paix. Later in the afternoon we will meet the vivid Congolese Sapeurs (Dandies) around in the Brazzaville downtown.
Dinner, overnight.

Day 14. April 8, 2023 (Saturday). Brazzaville – Return flight
After early breakfast, short city tour in Brazzaville: visit of Savanio de Brazza sanctuary or monument, cosmopolite market.
At noon airport transfer. Return flight.
