Day 1. February 10, 2024. Abidjan Airport - Grand Bassam (30 km)
Meeting at the airport of Abidjan and transfer to the hotel in Grand Bassam. Free time.

Day 2. February 11, 2024. Grand Bassam - Yamoussoukro (235 km)
After breakfast, from 08:00 to 11:30, we will explore Grand Bassam, a historic city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Grand Bassam used to be the French colonial capital and was the main port until the middle of the 20th century. Here we will see the colonial area, the palace of the first governor of the colony, and also visit the local souvenir market.
After lunch transfer to Yamoussoukro, arrival and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 3. February 12, 2024. Yamoussoukro - Bouake (150 km)
Breakfast and visit to Yamoussoukro - Sacred Cayman Lake and Basilica of Notre Dame de la Paix (listed in the Guinness Book in 1989 as the largest Christian religious building in the world).
This is an enlarged copy of St. Peter's Cathedral in Rome. The building can accommodate 7,000 parishioners. Marble and stained glass for the decoration of the cathedral were brought from Italy and France.
After lunch (14:00) drive to Bouaké, on the way stop at Kondeyaokro, villages of the Gbomi people, Goli dance, visit to the weavers of Baule loincloths. Then transfer to Bouaké, arrival and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 4. February 13, 2024. Bouake
Today we will continue to get acquainted with folk crafts. First we will visit the loincloth dyers, then we will go to the potters of Tano Sakassou. And in conclusion, we will go on a tour of the city of Bouaké, during which we will visit the local market.

Day 5. February 14, 2024. Bouake - Korhogo - Gnanfoin Village - Korhogo (228 km)
After breakfast, we head to Korhogo, check into a hotel and drive to the small village of Gnanfoin, where we will visit an old fetish house and chat with the tribal representatives near the negotiation box. In the evening return to the city.

Day 6. February 15, 2024. Korhogo
Today we will devote to the study of the lands of the Senufo. Known for their craftsmanship, the Senufo are also considered to be a rather mysterious animist people.
We will also visit a handicraft market with traditional wooden sculptures and textiles, as well as weavers and women who produce shea butter.
After lunch we will see one of the most important dances of the Senufo in the village near Korhogo, the Boloye or Panther dance.
The Senufo have very interesting family traditions: married men dont't live with their wives!
Meetings of wives with husbands among the Senufo take place in the evenings and look very romantic: a man comes to his wife with gifts and treats, spends some time with her, and then leaves for his parents' house.

Day 7. February 16, 2024. Korhogo - Bundiali - Fulani village - Kuto (150 km)
After breakfast, we will travel around the regions inhabited by the Fulani.
The Fulani are a semi-nomadic people whose lifestyle is centered on pastoralism. Arrival in Bundiali where we meet our local guide, then head to the Fulani nomadic village.
After dinner, the traditional dance of the hunters.

Day 8. February 17, 2024. Kuto - Bundiali - Kuto (60 km)
After breakfast, visit the first Kolya hut and the Samori Ture mosque built in the 17th century, as well as the village of artisans, where we will meet women who do pottery.
Return to Bundiali for lunch, after lunch the dance of the fire-eaters called jinangoro, an amazing Senufo tradition not to be missed.

Day 9. February 18, 2024. Bundiali - Odienne (300 km)
After breakfast, departure for Odienne. We head to the lands of Malinke, once known as famous warriors and descendants of the old Mali empire, arrival and check-in at the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, a city tour where we will visit the historical mountain near the city with the possibility of climbing.

Day 10. February 19, 2024. Odienne - Yakuba - Man - Danane - Man (270 km)
After breakfast, departure to Man, along the way we will make stops in the village of Yakuba with thatched houses, which is located in the middle of the forest, and in Tuba, where we have a wader dance, which is performed on stilts.
Arrival and check-in at the hotel. After lunch departure to Danane (80 km) to see the liana bridge to Vota, 25 km from Danane. This magnificent bridge was built over the river Cavalli. The rocky bank of the river next to the bridge leads to a magnificent island, which can serve as a resting place. Return to Man.

Day 11. February 20, 2024. Man - Timbeta - Yamoussoukro (290 km)
After breakfast, visit to the waterfall and visit hermits in the sacred forest.
Departure to Timbeta for the Zauli dance of the Guro people, which is performed in bright colorful masks, which are usually crowned with ram's horns, a bird or a snake.
After this traditional dance, departure to Yamoussokro, arrival and transfer to the hotel.
