TRAVEL PROGRAM: TOUR TO KYRGYZSTAN
Day 1. July 30, 2023 (Sunday). Manas Airport (Bishkek) – Buranu Tower – Chon-Kemin (170 km)
Arrival by international flight to Manas airport no later than 9 am. Meeting in the morning at the airport with a driver and guide.
Departure to the jorney. We will visit the tower-minaret of Burana on our way (the ancient settlement of Balasagun of the IX-XIII centuries), and make a quick tour of the historical site, which is on the UNESCO heritage list.
Then we go to the Chon-Kemin valley, which is the national reserve of the country.
There is a village In the center of the valley where we will stop to spend the night. Rest.
In the evening, before dinner, we will take a walk along the surrounding foothills, take a walk to the panoramic observation point, where a view of the mountain valley opens. Those who wish can organize a separate ride on horseback or carts.

Day 2. July 31, 2023 (Monday). Chon-Kemin - Lake Issyk-Kul - Karakol (300 km)
Departure to the beautiful mountain lake Issyk-Kul through the Boom gorge along the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.
Lunch on the way to the city of Cholpon-Ata. Visiting ancient petroglyphs of the Saka period VIII-IV centuries BC.
At the request of the group, you can organize a boat trip on Lake Issyk-Kul (optional, additionaly paid).
Visiting the picturesque Grigorievskoe or Semyonovskoye gorge.
Upon arrival in Karakol - sightseeing tour of the city. We will see the old Russian merchant houses of the XIX century, the Dungan mosque, the Orthodox Church, the museum of the explorer-traveler Przhevalsky 1839-1888.
Kyrgyzstan is a multinational country, 80 nationalities and small ethnic groups live here. One of these peoples are the Dungans, who moved to the territory of Kyrgyzstan from China after the uprising of 1877.
We will learn the ethnic characteristics of the Dungans in Karakol and try national dishes.

Day 3. August 1, 2023 (Tuesday). Karakol - Jety-Oguz Gorge - Skazka Canyon - Beltam (145 km)
After breakfast, we drive along the southern shore of the lake, we drive into the Jety Oguz gorge. At the beginning of the Jety-Oguz gorge, we will admire the picturesque rocks - Broken Heart, Seven Bulls, a health resort where famous cosmonauts Yuri Gagarin and Alexei Leonov rested and recovered after spacewalk.
In the gorge we will meet the families of pastoralists who graze horses. You can try the national drink koumiss - fermented mare's milk.
After lunch, we continue along the southern coast of Issyk-Kul and drive into the Skazka canyon.
And after that, our path lies to the yurt camp on the shore of Issyk-Kul, where you can swim in the warm water of the famous lake and relax.

Day 4. August 2, 2023 (Wednesday). Bel-Tam - Bokonbaevo - Kyzyl-Tuu - Kochkor (130 km)
Departure to the village of Kochkor along the southern coast of Issyk-Kul lake.
In the foothills of the Bokonbaevo village, we will get acquainted with Berkutchi, a hunter with an eagle, and learn about the features of traditional hunting with birds of prey in Kyrgyzstan.
Lunch in the village of Kyzyl-Tuu in the house of a local resident, a master in the manufacture of wooden frames of yurts - the traditional dwelling of nomads. We will be able to see his workshop and get acquainted with his inventory.
Then we head to the central part of the Tien Shan mountains past the Orto-Tokoy reservoir to the village of Kochkor.

Day 5. August 3, 2023 (Thursday). Kochkor – Son-Kul Lake (105 km)
In the morning we leave for the Son-Kul lake - a high-altitude summer camp of modern shepherds, livestock breeders, nomads.
Son-Kul is a beautiful alpine lake with a harsh alpine climate, which is located at an altitude of more than 3000 meters above sea level.
The road to it goes through high mountain passes and picturesque serpentines, where you can meet herds of yaks along the way.
Evening walk through the Alpine mountain meadows. Those who wish can ride horses (optional, additionaly paid ).
Accommodation in a yurt camp in a Kyrgyz family. Acquaintance with the traditions and life of local Kyrgyz.

Day 6. August 4, 2023 (Friday). Son-Kul Lake – Bishkek (300 km)
After breakfast we return to the capital city of Bishkek. We will walk through the historical center of the city. We will visit Central Square, Victory Square, Theater Square. Dinner at a restaurant with a folklore concert and Manaschi, the narrator of the Manas epic.
