Along the way, you can observe the life of the Indians on the banks of the river. If you're lucky, you can see river dolphins.

Day 3. October 31, 2025 (Friday). DELTA ORINOCO

Watching wildlife, walking through the jungle (1.5 hours), fishing for piranha, visiting the community of Warao Indians, who still maintain their traditional way of life - they live in houses without walls and sleep in hammocks under a canopy.
It is to the Warao Indians that modern Venezuela owes its name. Warao first made contact with Europeans shortly after Christopher Columbus reached the Orinoco Delta, and one of his companions, Alonso de Ojeda, decided to sail upstream. There, in the delta, Ojeda saw warao huts on characteristic stilts, balanced above the water. Similar architecture has been compared to Venice, with its famous canals below and buildings above. This new meeting extended the name Venezuela ("little Venice") to the whole country.

Day 4. November 1, 2025 (Saturday). DELTA ORINOCO - CIUDAD BOLIVAR

After breakfast we drive to the airport and fly to Canaima National Park. Today we are waiting for a boat trip along the picturesque Canaima lagoon, into which 4 waterfalls flow at once. Here we will be able to pass inside the El Sapo waterfall, between the rock and the water curtain. In the dry season, the waterfall almost dries up, but we will be right after the end of the rainy season, so all the waterfalls will appear before us in full glory! Next, we will walk around the island of Anatolia, named after the Russian traveler and explorer Anatoly Pocheptsov. Swimming in the lagoon is optional.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Accommodation included: Posada Excursiones Kavac hotel

Day 6. November 3, 2025 (Monday). CANAIMA - ANGEL WATERFALL

Today we are going on a river expedition to the foot of the Angel Falls. On the banks of the river we will be surrounded by impenetrable jungle, and above them - towering tepui. Interestingly, all tepui are about the same height, with sheer-smooth walls, covered almost to the middle with tropical forest. We will make stops in the most picturesque places. In one of them we will have a picnic.
Travel time will greatly depend on the water level in the river. Approximately 5 hours of travel.
After arrival, accommodation in a hiking camp with a gorgeous view of Angel, the highest waterfall in the world!
Today and next night we have to spend like real Indians - in hammocks under a canopy.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Accommodation included: in hammocks under a canopy overlooking Angel

Day 7. November 4, 2025 (Tuesday). ANGEL WATERFALL

Today we are going to hike to the waterfall. After a simple two-hour trek, we will find ourselves on the observation deck, which will open, perhaps, the best view of the highest waterfall on Earth! Here it will be nice to refresh yourself by swimming in the lagoon at the foot of the waterfall.
In the afternoon, we will take a boat to Mayupa Savannah along the picturesque Moroco River, where we can observe wildlife and diverse vegetation, such as the Tree of Life and the Moriche Palm "aguaje" while enjoying the reflection of the stunning jungle in the water. Moroco is also an excellent spot for birdwatchers. We will arrive at the port, disembark, and admire the iconic tepuis (tabletop mountains) of Canaima from a new perspective.

Accommodation in hammocks on the banks of a picturesque river overlooking Angel.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Accommodation included: in hammocks in Mayupa Savannah

Day 8. November 5, 2025 (Wednesday). MAYUPA SAVANNA – TEPUY KURAVAINA – CANAIMA

In the morning, after a light breakfast, we will set off to conquer Kuravaina Tepuy. First, we will have an easy half-hour trek until we reach a beautiful gallery forest, lush and filled with diverse palm trees and crystal-clear streams, many of which originate from Kuravaina Tepuy.
We will continue our journey to a waterfall in the heart of the gallery forest, where we can take a refreshing dip in Pozo Azul. Then, we will proceed with a 50-minute hike, this time uphill. A climb of 498 meters awaits us to the summit of Kuravaina Tepuy, offering a breathtaking landscape with an impressive view of the Kuraupa Valley and the Kurun and Kusari Tepuys.
After descending from the Tepuy, we will board our boat and return to the Canaima Lagoon. In the evening, there will be free time in Canaima.

* A helicopter tour to Angel is available today or tomorrow morning for a fee. All the beauty that we observed from the boat can now be seen from above. During this tour, we will make several stops, including landing on Auyan tepuyi, and standing right where Angel falls down.

Estimated cost 2000 - 2200 dollars for a 4-seat helicopter. Accordingly, with 4 people, the cost per person will be 500 - 550 dollars.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 9. November 6, 2025 (Thursday). CANAIMA - CARACAS

We will stroll past the Capitol, the Caracas Cathedral, and the Casa de la Moneda (House of the Golden Ounce), which was once a royal prison and now houses the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the city magistrate; we will also see the house where Simon Bolivar was born. Additionally, we will take a walk through the San Agustin barrio (favela). If time permits, we will visit one of the city’s squares inhabited by macaws. Typically, macaws do not nest in cities, but Caracas is the only megapolis where these magnificent birds can be observed.
