Our expedition will go to the flat top of the table mountain Roraima, overcoming several climatic zones at once and discovering several endemics. Rising in the Guiana Highlands, at the junction of Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana, the Roraima tepui once served as the prototype for Conan Doyle's novel The Lost World, and today is a Mecca among climbers on the most beautiful routes.

Day 1. November 14, 2023 (Tuesday). CARACAS - PUERTO ORDAZ
Arrival in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. Meeting at the airport and in the afternoon connecting flight to Puerto Ordaz. Arrival in Puerto Ordaz, transfer. Overnight at the hotel.
* Recommended flights:
- Turkish Airlines, flight TK-223, departure from Istanbul on November 14 at 2:00 am, arrival in Caracas on November 14 at 8:00 am you will need to exit the transit area, collect your luggage and check in again for a Turkish Airlines flight.Please note that there are 2 airports in Istanbul.If you arrive at another airport, you need to allow time for transfer between airports).
- another flight from any city with arrival in Caracas before 11:00 am on November 14th.

Day 2. November 15, 2023 (Wednesday). PUERTO ORDAZ - SANTA ELENA DE WAIREN
After breakfast, we have a long bus ride (12 hours, 600 km) to Santa Elena de Airen. Check-in and overnight at the Posada Villa Fairmont.
* For an extra charge, a charter flight on a propeller plane (6 seats) from Puerto Ordaz to Santa Elena de Airen is possible. The availability of the flight is negotiated separately if there are those who wish (about $ 250 per person).

Day 3. November 16, 2023 (Thursday). SANTA ELENA DE WAIREN - PARAI TEPUI - TEQ RIVER
We will drive 25 km to Parai Tepui (1600 m above sea level), from where we will start trekking (5 hours) through the savannah to the Kukenan camp at an altitude of 1650 m. During the trek we will have to cross two rivers.
In the evening our guide and porters will set up camp for a nice dinner at the foot of Roraima.

Day 4. November 17, 2023 (Friday). TEK RIVER - RORAIMA BASE CAMP
Trekking 10 km (5 hours, climb - 200 meters) to the base camp of Roraima, located at an altitude of 1850 meters above sea level.
Our path will go through the savanna, on the way we will be surrounded by stunning prehistoric landscapes: orchids, bromeliads, ferns, palm trees, fluttering hummingbirds.
After trekking we will have a refreshing swim in the river next to the camp.

Day 5. November 18, 2023 (Saturday). TEK RIVER - BASE CAMP - RORAIMA TOP
We will have a steep hike of about 3 hours (1.5 km, climb 850 meters) through the jungle, after which we will reach the summit of the Lost World at an altitude of 2700 m.
Here we will see interesting rock formations - the result of 2 billion years of erosion. We will be surrounded by amazing prehistoric unusual plants. This is the real Lost World. Most of the plants here are endemic and found nowhere else.
Some sections here look like lunar landscapes, and the views from the top through the mists to the savannah spread below are simply incredible.
Our tents will be set up in natural caves for 3 nights, providing us with protection from the frequent fogs and downpours from above.

Days 6 – 7. November 19 – 20, 2023 (Sunday – Monday). RORAIMA TOP
We will explore the fantasy country at the top of Roraima. The peak extends for 45 km in length and 20 km in width. We will visit the Crystal Valley, where we will see strange and beautiful quartz rocks and a bizarre landscape that rises up and then descends.
We have to cross streams and wetlands, passing through natural labyrinths. As well as stunning views of the savannah will open before us.
We will have the opportunity to swim in natural jacuzzis with water of red, brown and gold colors.

Day 8. November 21, 2023 (Tuesday). RORAIMA TOP - TEK RIVER
Today we will descend 10.5 km to the Tek River (1850 meters above sea level) in 7 hours. Along the way we will be able to enjoy the last views of the walls of Roraima.

Day 9. November 22, 2023 (Wednesday). TEK RIVER - PARAI TEPUI
We will walk about 4 hours to Parai Tepui. Free time after lunch.
Night bus to Puerto Ordaz (600 km, approximately 12 hours).

Accommodation included: night on the bus
Day 10. November 23, 2023 (Thursday). SANTA ELENA DE WAIREN - PUERTO ORDAZ
In the afternoon we arrive in Puerto Ordaz. If there is enough free time, a river trip on a catamaran along the Carani and Orinoco rivers, as well as a visit to the Cachamay and La Llovicina parks can be organized.
Overnight at the hotel.
* For a fee, a charter flight on a propeller plane (6 seats) from Santa Elena de Airen to Puerto Ordaz is possible. The availability of the flight is negotiated separately if there are those who wish (about $ 250 per person).
